Architecture is the art of designing and constructing buildings,bridges,and other structures. Architects manipulate space,volume,mass,light,shadow, and decoration to create functional and aesthetically pleasing structures. Factors that have influenced architecture include climate,availability of materials, and economy. Some important figures in architecture are Inigo Jones,Freank Lloyd Wright,Rowloand Anderson,William Strickland,Christopher Wren,Alvar Aalto,Antonio Gaudi and much more.Throught the centuries,architecture has seen many innovations. Some features such as post-and lintel construction,arches,domes,and vaults were used in the classical period of architecture as well as other architectural periods. Other important styles and periods of architecture include Romanesque architecture,Barooque and Rococo architecture,Modern architecture, and postmodern architecture.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Republican and Democratic National Committee have hired you, a famous architect to design a peacetime meeting hall where the two opposing political parties can meet to discuss,resolve,and clarify their respective positions. The peacetime meeting hall will be constructed on a site in washington D.C . As the architect you have decided to utilize their respective pollitical party platforms and th eword "harmony" to develop your concept.

hey everyone! if you dont know, our club meetings have changed from monday 3:00 to friday's at 10:00 a.m

On friday the 4th vanessa,alique,nick,jackie,janell, and katrina spent a few hours with the manchester gate 5th graders at the security building in downtown fresno.

we toured the building and had the pleasure to speak with the owner of the building.
